Care Attendants

Chritine Best Crossroads care attendants go into the home and copy the routine of the primary carer. They will receive instructions on how to best perform duties the carers themselves would normally carry out. This enables the care attendant to know the needs of the individual she/he is helping and to allow the carer peace of mind whilst they take a break. Care Attendants become a valued part in the lives of the carers and the cared for.

These are just a few examples of what carers and the cared for have said about their Crossroads Care Attendant:

'she is like a breath of fresh air'

'Like a member of the family'

'A true friend'

'Provides peace of mind that their loved one is well taken care of'

'When I came out of hospital, she helped me to regain my strength and confidence, I just don't know how I could continue my caring role without her'

'I look forward to her visits, she is like a ray of sunshine'

'I am severely disabled, but somehow don't feel it with her'
